Victoria Buccello
Kentfield resident
Victoria Buccello, a longtime Kentfield resident and a cafeteria worker at Marin Catholic High School for 30 years, died Saturday, Dec. 1,1990, at Marin General Hospital in Kentfield. She was 91.
Mrs. Buccello was born in Des Moines, Iowa.
She moved to Marin in 1961 and settled in Kentfield.
After raising her four children, she went to work for Creative Catering and worked at the Marin Catholic cafeteria. She retired nine years ago at the age of 82.
Her 25th year at Marin Catholic was marked by a special luncheon in her honor by the school’s faculty.
Mrs. Buccello also volunteered at benefit events for Marin Catholic.
Her husband, Louis Buccello, died in 1973.
She was a member of Young at Heart, a senior citizens group at St. Sebastian’s Church in Kentfield.
Mrs. Buccello’s survivors include two sons, Henry Buccello of Naples, Fla., and Jim Buccello of Sacramento; two daughters, Vivian Conway of Novato and Virginia Buccello of Kentfield; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Sebastian’s Church.
Vigil will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Memorial contributions to Marin Catholic High School are preferred.
