Maurine Belle Gazzola
Retired dental hygienist
Maurine Belle Gazzola of Ross, a retired dental hygienist, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 1990, at home.
She was 64.
Mrs. Gazzola was a native of Fresno and attended high school in Visalia.
She was a graduate of the University of California in Berkeley, where she received a bachelor’s degree in letters and science.
Mrs. Gazzola also graduated from University of California in San Francisco, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in the dental training program.
She worked as a dental hygienist.
Mrs. Gazzola was a member of the American Association of University Women.
She enjoyed traveling, art and an number of bridge clubs.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Jack Gazzola of Ross; two daughters, Eve Marie Wertsch and Jane Louise Gazzola, both of San Francisco; her mother, Zella Pierce Condit of Visalia; a sister, Janice C. Elliott of Hillsborough.
The memorial service will be private. Inurnment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin.
