RAYMOND ROBSON

Raymond Rothwell Robson, 77, of Corte Madera, died yesterday at his home.

Asst. Coroner Bill J. Thomas said Robson, suffering from emphysema, was preparing to go see a doctor when he collapsed. He was dead on arrival at Marin General Hospital.

A native of San Francisco, Robson moved with his family to Ross in 1906, and lived there until 1930 when he moved to Corte Madera. He lived with his wife Catharine at 665 Redwood Avenue. He was a retired book-binder who had worked for various paper companies in the Bay Area.

Besides his wife, Robson is survived by a son, Raymond R. Robson Jr. of Corte Madera.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael. Inurnment will be private.
