JAMES FISCHER
Funeral arrangements were pending today for James Fischer of San Rafael, who died Saturday at a local hospital after a short illness. He was 55.
Fischer lived in a hotel at 830 B Street. He became ill Thursday in his room and was taken to the hospital in a coma, according to the county coroner.
He is survived by his mother, Josephine Fischer of Riverside.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Williams and Heffernan mortuary.
