MINOR GRADY

Minor William Grady, 58, a San Anselmo carpenter, was found dead Saturday in his car parked near the Wade Thomas School, where he was working on a construction job.

Asst. County Coroner William C. Bradley said some children saw Grady in his car and thought he was asleep but later called their parents, who notified San Anselmo police. Grady had been dead about 26 hours when police investigated Saturday at 6 p.m. He apparently collapsed after he got into his car after work Friday afternoon, Bradley said.

Cause of death was probably a heart attack, Bradley said, and an autopsy will be performed.

Grady was employed by Zoellner Construction Co. of Ross. He was a resident of Marin about three years, at 118 Terrace Avenue, San Anselmo.

He was a native of Michigan.

He leaves his mother, Nettie Grady, two brothers, Albert Grady and Floyd Grady, all of Lima, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Oliver Maxwell of Lafayette, Ohio.

The body will be sent by Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, to Lima, Ohio, for funeral and burial.
