Pamela B. Hooper

A resident of Novato, passed away May 2, 2002 at Marin General Hospital after a 20-year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 8, 1946, she grew up in San Francisco, California and was a 1964 graduate of Mercy High School. She worked for Marin Catholic High School as an administrative assistant for the last 12 years. Mrs. Hooper was predeceased by her mother, Lucille Bettencourt (1995), her father Stanley Bettencourt (1997), and her brother Roy Padilla (1998). She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Keith, her two daughters Dana and Tiffany, sister Vonnell Bettencourt and niece Shoshauna Bettencourt. She will also be missed by extended family and many friends. Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 7th from 2-6 p.m. at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd. Novato. A Vigil Service will be recited at Our Lady of Loretto, 1806 Novato Blvd. at 7:30 p.m. also on Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions preferred to the American Cancer Society, 25 Bellam Blvd. #150, San Rafael, CA 94901. Keaton's Redwood Chapel 415-897-1151.
