BERNARD MAGILL

Bernard R. (Barney) Magill, 70, of 33 Park Way, San Anselmo, died yesterday at a local hospital, apparently of a heart attack.

Magill had lived in San Francisco most of his life, until moving to Marin about 5 years ago.

He was the retired manager of the smoke shop in the Crown-Zellerbach Building after being with Spalding Sales Corp. working with Little League ball clubs.

A Navy veteran of World War I, he was a member of C. C. Thomas Navy Post 244 and World War I Barracks 550, San Rafael.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Magill.

Funeral will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Halsted and Co., San Francisco, under the auspices of C. C. Thomas Navy Post. Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore.
