Bertha E. “Bobby” Graves

A memorial service for Bertha E. “Bobby” Graves of Mill Valley will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mill Valley Community Church. Mrs. Graves, 72, died Saturday at Marin General Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Graves was born in Paonia, Colo., and lived most of her life in Marin.

She graduated in 1934 from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.

Mrs. Graves was a retired real estate saleswoman and formerly owned and operated the Golden Sales Jewelry store in the Village Fair in Sausalito.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Graves, a retired high school teacher; a daughter, Delladee Cannon of Denver; a son, Douglas Graves of Mill Valley; a brother, John R. George of Mill Valley; and six grandchildren.

Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 558 Pilgrim Drive, Foster City.
