Mary Derrig
Mrs. Mary Derrig, 84, of 33 Manor View, Fairfax, died yesterday after a long illness.
Mrs. Derrig, widow of James Derrig, was a native of County Kerry, Ireland. She had been a resident of Marin for seven years and of California for 63 years.
Surviving are a son, James D. Derrig of Fairfax, a brother, Michael Keane, and two grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rita’s Church, Fairfax. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

In a Death Notice on the same page her name is given as Katherine M. Derrig and her son’s middle initial is given as E instead of D. The notice also states that she was the mother of the late Dorothy and Katherine Derrig. Her brother, Michael Keane was “of Coronado, Ca.”
