GLORIA WATERS
Novato homemaker
Gloria A. Waters died in her Novato home after battling cancer for 3 1/2 years. She was 67.
Mrs. Waters was born in Missoula, Mont. She lived in Portland, Ore., before settling in Novato with her husband of 49 years, Eugene B. Waters.
She died July 10.
A homemaker, Mrs. Waters was active in the Women’s Club of Marin. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and riding horses. Just months before her death, she made a trip to Alaska with her husband.
Mrs. Waters will be cremated and her ashes scattered along Puget Sound in a private family ceremony.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sherry McClure of Salem, Ore.; a son, Steve Waters of Lake Oswego, Ore.; sister, Mary Marshall of Yelm, Wash.; a brother, Joe Woods of Helena, Mont.; and two grandchildren.
