Mary Ellen Maher Dies After Illness
Mrs. Mary Ellen Maher, who has had a summer home in Kentfield for the past 48 years, died yesterday after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Pasqualetti, 15 Poplar Avenue, Kentfield. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., 66 years ago.
Residing formerly in San Francisco and Berkeley, Mrs. Maher made her home with her daughter for the past three years.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Pasqualetti is another daughter, Miss Marjorie Maher, a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Sebastian, and four grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Capt. John Leo Maher, U. S. Army.
Funeral services will he held at Keaton’s, San Rafael, at 8:45 a.m. tomorrow, followed by a Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church. Inurnment will be private. Recitation of the Rosary will be at the Keaton Chapel at 8 p.m.today.
