THELMA McKELVY

Memorial service for Thelma McKelvy, a homemaker, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mill Valley Community Church.

Mrs. McKelvy, 77, died Friday after a short illness at the Redwood Retirement Residence, Mill Valley, where she had been living.

She was the widow of Neville McKelvy, a research engineer for Syntron Co. of Blairsville, Pa., who died last August.

Mrs. McKelvy spent most of her adult life in Blairsville where she was active in civic work. She served as a pink lady at Marin General Hospital and was a member of Mill Valley Community Church. She had been a resident of Marin since 1966. She was a native of Mars, Pa.

Surviving are her mother, Leota Smith of San Rafael; two daughters, Marilyn Yelverton of Belvedere and Patricia Hopfer of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren.

There was to be cremation and scattering of her ashes at sea.
