Funeral Services For San Rafael Pioneer
The last rites were said last Saturday for Emil Ronberg, aged 81 years, who had made his home in Sam Rafael for a great many years. He passed away Thursday of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Johansen, where he had resided for several years, after an illness of some time.
The services, largely attended, were held at the Odd Fellows Hall at 2:30 and interment was made in Mount Tamalpais cemetery under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
The deceased was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and had been for fifty years. The ceremony was conducted by the officers of Marin Lodge No. 200.
He is survived by a son, Emil Ronberg Jr., and two stepsons, Ludwig and Martin Johansen. His wife, Mrs. Lillie Ronberg, had preceded him in death by several years.
