Teacher Killed in Wreck at Manor

What started out to be a joyful trip to an honor society meeting in San Jose ended in tragedy when Albert H. Nall, manual training teacher at the Tomales Joint Union High School, was killed when he jumped from a light school bus which he was driving into the path of an on-coming train at the Manor crossing last Saturday night. The occurrence was a most tragic one, for the instructor, who leaped from his car was killed, while the students who stayed within the bus were not hurt, as the truck was pushed out of the way. The students and teacher were returning home from the meeting.

Immediately following the accident the teacher was taken to the Ross General Hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The students who went on the trip included Lucinda McCullah, Anna Carlson, Hugh Cunningham, Mildred Isel, Rena Crayne and Albert Lambert.

A native of England, aged 50 years, Mr. Nall is survived by his wife, Florence Nall, and two sons – Wallace Nall of the State Teachers College at San Jose, and Ronald Nall, a student at the Tomales High School.
