JOSEPHINE HUTCHINSON
A funeral for Josephine B. Hutchinson, a retired nurse, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin, Novato.
Mrs. Hutchinson, 89, of Tiburon, died Monday at Ross General Hospital after a short illness.
She had been a nurse in San Francisco for more than 25 years, a homemaker and a fraternity housemother and hostess at the College of Pacific in Stockton from 1946-48.
Mrs. Hutchinson was a native of Monticello, Ky., who lived most of her life in California. She was a resident of San Francisco for more than 20 years and of Marin for more than 30 years.
She had been active in public school, Red Cross, and senior citizens work.
Surviving are her son, Albert Hutchinson of Tiburon, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. The family prefers that in her memory friends and relations recognize and assist senior citizen causes.
