John E. Bonfiglio
Passed away peacefully March 29, 2002, in Greenbrae age 87 years. He is survived by two nephews, numerous cousins and sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Irma, and brother Chester. John was born April 2, 1914 in San Rafael and worked for 45 years in the lumber industry. He was a former employee of Henry Hess Lumber, Fairfax Lumber, Service Lumber, and retiring from San Marin Lumber. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, and visiting with his friends from Club Italia. John will be sadly missed for his kind and gentle manners. Visitation will be Monday, April 1st 1:00-5:00 and Tuesday, April 2nd 10:00-5:00. Family and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Keaton's Mortuary, 1022 E St., San Rafael, CA. Burial at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity.
