LOTHAR KARAU
Lothar Herman Karau, 80, father of Shirley Karau of San Rafael, died Saturday at a local hospital after an illness.
Born in Minnesota, Karau also had lived in Idaho before coming to Marin five years ago to live with his daughter. Her home is at 104 Garden Avenue.
Karau was a retired accountant. His wife, Mildred, died in 1958.
In addition to Miss Karau, survivors include another daughter, Margaret Thayer, and a grandson.
Funeral will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Howard R. Short Funeral Home, Moscow, Ida. Burial will be in the Moscow Cemetery.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that the grandson is named Theodore Thayer.
