TERESA LOCKE
Teresa Locke, a former resident of Marin, died yesterday in Alameda County after a brief illness. She was 110 years old.
She was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, and came to the United States in 1900, settling in San Francisco. She and her late husband Allan moved to Mill Valley after the 1906 earthquake, which destroyed their home. He died in 1954 and Mrs. Locke stayed in Marin until 1962, when she moved to Decoto in Alameda County.
She was a longtime member of the Church of Our Saviour in Mill Valley.
Survivors include a son, Allan F. Locke of Vallejo, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Pratt-Flierl Mortuary in Hayward. Inurnment will be in Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Colma. The family prefers donations to the Church of Our Saviour, Mill Valley.
