Stella Da San Martino
Stella Da San Martino, former longtime Kentfield resident, died in a Sonoma hospital Sunday after a brief illness. She was 73.
Mrs. Da San Martino was born and reared in Vacaville. She moved to San Francisco as a young woman and then to Kentfield 45 years ago after her marriage to Joseph Da San Martino, who survives.
They moved to Sonoma 10 years ago. Mrs. Da San Martino was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation in Sonoma.
Also surviving are two daughters, Joan Keefe of Larkspur and Irene Miller of Los Gatos; two sisters, Florence Stickel of Larkspur and Anne Conroy of San Francisco, and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Solano Church in Sonoma. Entombment will be in St. Francis Solano Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at Bates, Evans & Fehrensen mortuary in Sonoma.
The family prefers memorial gifts to a favorite charity.
