Kentfield Resident Dies At Age 74

Archimede Galeazzi of Kentfield, a retired Bank of America employee, died today at the age of 74. He had been hospitalized since Tuesday, but ill much longer.

Galeazzi came to Marin County in 1927, residing at 12 Cypress avenue in Kentfield. He previously lived in San Francisco, where he was as assistant cashier for the bank, dealing mostly in foreign exchange.

Born in Genoa, Italy, Galeazzi served in the Italian Army before coming to the United States in 1910. His wife, Battistina, and first-born son, Louis, followed him to San Francisco later.

He leaves two sons, Louis Galeazzi of Healdsburg and Remo of Petaluma, and two grandchildren.

A Requiem High Mass will be offered Wednesday at a time yet to be set at St. Anselm's Church in San Anselmo with burial at Santa Rosa Catholic Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be tomorrow night at 8 o'clock at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
