COELHO, Francis R - Artist, Art Educator Francis R. Coelho, head of the Mill Valley Program and former chairman of the San Francisco State University art department, died July 11, 2002 at his home in Mill Valley, California. He was 75. Coelho worked in many mediums including prints, bronze sculpture, painting, video, and in the last few years, poetry and intricate drawings. He is survived by his sons David and Paul; daughter-in-law, Lee Tan; and two grandsons, Kevin and Christopher. He is also survived by his two brothers, Victor and John; Ruth Freeman, his former wife; and Chad Larkey, his companion. A Memorial Service and Concert will be held on August 10 in the Mount Tamalpais United Methodist Church in Mill Valley, California at 2 PM.
