BARBARA GRACE CLEVERDON
The funeral for Barbara Grace Cleverdon, a longtime San Rafael resident, was to be today.
Mrs. Cleverdon died Monday at her home at the age of 77.
She was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin in 1945, living in Sleepy Hollow for a time before settling in San Rafael in 1952. She also had a residence in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico.
She was an officer for the American Red Cross and a volunteer worker at Ross General Hospital. She also was a member of Pro America, a women’s group.
Mrs. Cleverdon is survived by her husband, William T. Cleverdon Jr.; two daughters, Barbara Womack of Marinwood and Carol Jean Rogers of Santa Barbara; a son, William T. Cleverdon III of Watsonville, Santa Cruz County; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family has asked that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903.
