Funeral Rites For Air Force Lt. Wilson
A military funeral will be held at Golden Gate National Cemetery Monday for Lt. Bruce S. Wilson, 23, an airman who was raised in Novato and was killed in August while flying as a jet fighter pilot over Korea.
The young airman was the son of Hamilton Air Force Base Sgt. And Mrs. Kennard D. Wilson, 21 Los Alondras court, Novato.
Wilson graduated from San Rafael High School in 1945 and enlisted in the service as a paratrooper a few years later. He entered the air force in 1950. He was killed in Korea August 10.
The serviceman was returned to United States with other war dead late last month.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at cemetery chapel by Air Force Chaplain Russell Knoebel.
