Elsie N. Meagor Dies At 64
Mrs. Elsie N. Meagor, 64, of 185 Morningside Drive, San Anselmo, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital after along illness.
She was a native of Lithium, Mo., and has lived in California since 1923. She was active in San Anselmo Parent-Teachers Association and served for a number of years as superintendent of the First Baptist Church school in San Anselmo. She was a past worthy matron of the San Rafael chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Joseph C. Meagor Jr. of Santa Susana, Ventura County, a brother, Andrew Galss of San Leandro, and a sister, Mrs. Zita Butler of Novato.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at the First Baptist Church in San Anselmo. Interment will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
