DE WEESE, Dall David - May 25, 2002 in San Francisco after a long battle with lung cancer. Born May 18, 1942 in Los Angeles, the only child of Alice Hagarman De Weese of Mill Valley and Dallas David De Weese, who passed away in 1977. Beloved husband of Tomianne Wiley; loving father of Wiley Dallas De Weese, both of Pacifica; nephew of June Pelphrey of Rogers, AR; cousin of Steve Pelphrey of Rogers, AR, Michelle Kraft of Forest Grove, MO and Joe Pelphrey of Boston, MA. Dall lived and worked in many places in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He graduated from Narbonne H.S. in Palos Verdes, CA and attended San Diego State University. Dall served in the U.S. Navy. He also had a long and successful career in the entertainment industry, working for nearly forty years as a stage carpenter, electrician, flyman and soundman. He served for many years as the master carpenter for the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego and the San Diego Opera. Dall worked with various major theatre companies in S. F. A member of the I.A.T.S.E., Local 16 in S. F. and a retired member of I.AT.S.E., Local 122 in San Diego. Dall loved to sail and was a member of the Bayview Boat Club. He was very skilled in restoring and repairing most anything, especially sailboats. He was also a gifted singer. Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Monday, June 3rd, 11 a.m. at First Unitarian Church, 1187 Franklin St., S.F. Dall's ashes will be scattered at sea. Donations in Dall's honor preferred to Zen Hospice Project of S. F., the First Unitarian Universalist Society of S. F. or the charity of your choice. Chapel By The Sea (650) 355-3411
