Mary A. Evans, 88, Succumbs
Mary A. Evans, 88, of Sausalito died today in a local hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Scotland. She and her husband, the late Dr. Percy C. Evans, moved to Sausalito 31 years ago from Peru, where Dr. Evans was employed as an oil company physician. They lived for many years in the old Alta Mira Hotel and later moved to 36 El Monte Lane.
Mrs. Evans leaves a daughter, Mrs. Heath Angelo of Sausalito; a son, Allan Evans of Washington, D.C.; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary, Sausalito. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper states that she was the grandmother of Mrs. Mary Steel.
