LAURA HARRINGTON
Laura E. Harrington, 97, of Novato, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Harrington lived with her sister, Mrs. Eva Alderman, at 655 Canyon Road.
A native of Black river Falls, Wis., she came to California 45 years ago. She worked as a secretary for a San Luis Obispo real estate firm until she retired in 1946.
Eighteen years ago she moved to Marin County, living in the Larkspur-Corte Madera area until five years ago when she moved to Novato.
Mrs. Harrington was a widow.
In addition to her sister, she is survived by a brother, J. P. June of Viroqua, Wis., and a niece, Mrs. Katherine Scott of Novato, whom she reared.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland. Friends may call at the Redwood Chapel Funeral Home, Novato, through tomorrow evening.
