A. J. KALINEC
Funeral for Albert J. Kalinec, a retired oil field worker, was held yesterday.
Kalinec, 79, of San Rafael, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a long illness.
He spent most of his adult life as an oil field worker in Texas, then managed an apartment building in San Francisco before moving to Marin 12 years ago. He was a native of Texas.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel Kalinec of San Rafael; two sons, Albert Kalinec Jr. of Wichita Falls, Tex., and Conrad Kalinec of Odess, Tex.; four daughters, Branch McGee of Novato, Mary E. Russey of Richmond, Helen Walter of Marinwood and Dorothy Newman of San Rafael; a sister, Dora Crossland of Texas; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Inurnment was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
