Point Reyes Pioneer Taken By Death
Joseph Silacci, California and Point Reyes pioneer, died Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. Mache, in Cazadero, where he had lived for the past 12 years.
Born in Switzerland 85 years ago, he came to the United States at an early age. He located at Point Reyes, where he engaged in a most successful dairy business. Retiring some years ago, he went to Cazadero to the home of his daughter. He had been ill for about three months.
Those who survive him include Asunta Silacci, his wife, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Mache, Mrs. Irene Riccoli, Mrs. A. Bianchini, Mrs. C. Griess, Ori Silacci and Quinto Silacci. Mr. Silacci was a member of Olema Grove, U. A. O. D.
