Robert A. Schroth
Age 64 of San Anselmo, passed away on April 29, 2002 in San Francisco after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. Born and raised in San Francisco, he later moved to Marin County where he was a resident of San Anselmo for 34 years. Survived by his wife, Lynda, of 37 years, their son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Teri Schroth, and grandchildren Wesley and Addison of Petaluma, and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kelly Schroth of Kentfield. Mr. Schroth is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Gail Schroth, their children, Matthew and Lauren, sister-in-law Shelley Burdett, and dear friends Fred and Joy Plowman, as well as many lifelong friends. Until his early retirement, Bob worked in the sporting goods industry for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in San Francisco and also attended the University of San Francisco. He was an avid fisherman and had a great love of the outdoors. Other hobbies included a passion for cooking. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Marin Heart Fund, 2 Bon Air Road, Larkspur, CA 94939, or to a charity of your choice.
