Mrs. Marie McEvoy, 71, Succumbs
Mrs. Marie McEvoy, 71, a resident of Marin County for 25 years, died yesterday at a local hospital where she was confined after falling and breaking her hip last week.
Mrs. McEvoy was a patient at Hill Haven Convalescent Hospital, San Rafael, when she fell in her room and broke her hip on March 22. Asst. County Coroner William C. Bradley ordered an autopsy.
Mrs. McEvoy had last worked as a housekeeper at an apartment house at 534 Third Street, San Rafael. She was born in Iowa.
She is survived by a brother, H. Schockley of Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chapel of the hills, San Anselmo.
