Dr. Alice B. O'Brien

Funeral for Dr. Alice Bepler O'Brien, a former member of the San Francisco Children's Hospital staff and sister of Frances Saville of San Rafael and Louise Bepler Graves of Belvedere, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. James Episcopal Church at 4620 California Street, San Francisco.

Mrs. O'Brien, 74, died Tuesday in San Francisco following a long illness.

She was born in San Francisco and graduated from University of California Medical School in 1929. She joined the staff of the Children's Hospital then and continued until 1959.

She was a member of t he American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the San Francisco Medical Society, Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical sorority, the American Medical Women's Association, the omen's City Club, the St. Francis Yacht Club, the UC Alumni Association and the Young Women's Christian Association.

She is also survived by her husband, Dr. Charles E. O'Brien; three other sisters, Doris Bepler Sharp of Palo Alto, Beatrice Butler Black of Greenock, Scotland, and Edith Feisel Yates of San Francisco.

Inurnment will be at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Colma.

Memorial contributions to the Children's Hospital would be preferred by the family.
