BESSIE NELSON
Funeral for Bessie Nelson, 81, long time resident of Novato, will be held at the Chapel of the Pines in Placerville at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Mrs. Nelson died Sunday at a Placerville convalescent hospital. She moved there a week ago from convalescent hospital in Novato.
A native of Texas, she moved to Santa Rosa in 1937 and to Novato soon afterward. Her husband died in 1938.
She leaves two sons, Robert of Petaluma and Melbourn Nelson of Lake Tahoe; a daughter, Mildred Dayton of Placerville, and six grandchildren.
Theh family prefers memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Novato, where Mrs. Nelson was an active member for many years.
