JOHN H. O'NEILL
John Howard O'Neill, a sales representative for the Flasher Co. in Oakland, died today at a local hospital following a long illness.
O'Neill, 48, lived at 10 Woodland Road, Kentfield. He had been a resident of Marin County for 15 years, moving here from San Francisco. Previously he lived in Washington, D.C.
Survivors are his wife, Ann Geraldine O'Neill, six children, Shauna Maria, John Howard Jr., Suzanne Louise, Thomas Kieran, Christiane Theresa and Colleen Mari O'Neill, all of the home, and three brothers, William O'Neill of San Francisco, Eugene O'Neill of Los Altos, Santa Clara County, and Thomas O'Neill of Vermont.
Requiem Mass will be offered at 10 a.m.Thursday at St. Anselm's Church, San Anselmo, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carew and English, San Francisco.

A Death Notice in the same paper says he was "the loving son of the late William and Theresa O'Neill".

The California Death Index adds information: he was born May 5, 1920; mother's maiden name was Miller.
