ALFRED CLAUDINO
Funeral was today for Alfred C. Claudino, longtime resident of the Hilarita housing project in Tiburon and a retired maintenance man for St. Hilary’s Catholic Church in Tiburon.
Claudino, 72, died Thursday in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness.
A native of the Azores Islands, Claudino was a resident of California 60 years and of Marin County 33 years.
He worked at St. Hilary’s for six years before retiring in 1964.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean Carrier of Baker, Ore.; two sisters, Josie Righanti and Geraldine Whinery, both of Los Banos; two brothers, Edward Williams of Oakland and Tony Claudino of Napa. He also leaves numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
