Albie Miles, 49, Dies
Funeral arrangements for Albie Lee Miles of Marin City were pending today at the Williams-Cooper Mortuary in Los Angeles. Mrs. Miles, 49, collapsed and died Friday in front of her home, apparently of natural causes, according to the Marin County Coroner’s Office.
A native of Henderson, Tex., she had lived in California 29 years and in Marin County eight years, residing at 419 Drake Avenue. She was employed as a domestic worker.
Mrs. Miles is survived by her husband, Rover Miles of Los Angeles; three brothers, Rev. F. J. Crear of Portland, Ore., Johnnie Crear of Los Angeles and the Rev. Lewis Nobles. She is also survived by two sisters, Ola Mae Flanagan of Los Angeles and Alice Thompson.
Funeral and burial will be in Los Angeles.
