STANLEY G. DAY
Stanley G. Day of San Anselmo [died] at his San Anselmo home Friday after a long illness. He was 76.
He was born in Menlo Park and moved to Marin County many years ago.
Day worked for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. as an auto mechanic for 43 years.
He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Clarisse Day of San Anselmo; a son, Wallace Day of Santa Rosa; three sisters, Connie Fellows and Bobbie Tredo, both of San Rafael, and Dorothy Hertler of Igo, Shasta County; and two grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin.
Mount Tamalpais Cemetery Mortuary will arrange a private service.
