Thelma M. Hazlett
A memorial service for Thelma M. Hazlett of Inverness will be held this week at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
Mrs. Hazlett died Thursday at a convalescent hospital in Petaluma after a five-month illness. She was 79.
She was born in Los Angeles and reared in Barberton, Ohio. She returned to Los Angeles in 1928 where she worked as a registered nurse.
Mrs. Hazlett was also a pianist and organist, playing for several churches.
She had also lived in Cottonwood in Shasta County before moving to Inverness last March to be near her daughter, Carol Spotts.
Her husband, Bruce Hazlett, died previously.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three grandchildren.
