Final Rites Set For Mrs. Purdy
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie May Purdy, 86, who died Saturday at her home at 103 Shaver street, San Rafael, will be held tomorrow in Whittier.
A native of Illinois, Mrs. Purdy had lived in San Rafael the last four years.
Mrs. Purdy’s son, Clarence A. Purdy, lived with his mother at her Shaver street home until his death four months ago.
She was the widow of Fred H. Purdy. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Voiles of Ross and Mrs. Florence Buford of Compton.
Local funeral arrangements were made by the Harry M. Williams Mortuary.
