Mrs. May Knudsen Dies In Hospital
Mrs. May Knudsen, 65, a native of the Sausalito area and a resident there all her life, died today at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Knudsen had lived alone at Waldo Point since the death of her husband, Konrad Knudsen, four years ago. She is survived by a son, Konrad Knudsen of Sausalito; a brother, Manuel Bettencourt of Mill Valley, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Knudsen was a member of St. Anthony's Guild of Novato, the SPRSI of Sausalito and Our Lady of Fatima Guild.
Requiem Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Sausalito, with the funeral cortege forming at the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary, Sausalito, at 9:15 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at Keaton's chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
