COSTANTI RADER Dies At 77
Costanti Rader, 77, operator of the New Europe Hotel at Third and B streets in San Rafael before it was torn down several years ago, died in a local hospital yesterday after a long illness.
A native of Venice, Italy, Rader had lived in Marin County for more than 50 years. He lived with his wife, Angelina, at 633 Fifth Avenue in San Rafael.
He was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 256 of San Rafael.
Rader is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dennis Cawley of Tucson, Ariz., and a son, Louis A. Rader of San Rafael.
Requiem Mass will be offered at St. Raphael’s Church, 1104 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. today at the Keaton Mortuary, 1022 E Street, San Rafael.
