Robert J. Ripplinger
Funeral arrangements for Robert J. Ripplinger of Santa Rosa, a bank executive, are pending at the Eggen and Lance Mortuary in Santa Rosa.
Ripplinger died Wednesday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a brief illness. He was 62.
He was an executive for 30 years with the California division of Lloyd’s Bank.
Ripplinger was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to California in 1950. He had lived in Sonoma County since 1968.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Moose Lodge and San Joaquin Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife, Louise N. Ripplinger of Santa Rosa; a stepdaughter, Marilyn Bray of Lompoc; a stepson, Ralph E. Kern of Seattle, Wash.; his father, Edward Ripplinger of Franklin, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Murphy of Southfield, Mich.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
