Mrs. Mary Luella Russell, wife of Joseph E. Russell, San Quentin guard, died yesterday at her home on Roberts Ave. following an illness of several months. She had resided in San Rafael for six years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Verna Carol Russell. Mrs. Russell, who was a native of Iowa was 49 years of age. The remains are at the chapel of Jenness and McElroy, San Anselmo and will be there until noon tomorrow. The funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church, San Rafael at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
