FERNAND E. DOMERGUE

A memorial service will be held at 8 tonight at the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy O’Hara on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco for Fernand “Ferd” E. Domergue of San Rafael.

Mr. Domergue died Sunday, March 13, 1988, at his home. He was 77.

He was a native of San Francisco who moved with h is wife to San Rafael 24 years ago. The couple built the Surf Motel in San Francisco in 1956 and sold it a few years ago.

Mr. Domergue was a World War II veteran who served as an Army staff sergeant. He was stationed in Germany for a year after the war ended.

Mr. Domergue enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian A. Domergue of San Rafael.

Visiting is after 1 today and a rosary and memorial service will be held at 8 p.m.

The family prefers donations to French Hospital Auxiliary or a favorite charity.
