JOHN BELLIA
John Bellia of Mill Valley, a retired longshoreman, died Thursday at Marin General Hospital.
He was 82.
Mr. Bellia was a native of Mosta, Malta, and had lived in Mill Valley for 11 years.
He was a member of the Longshoremen’s Union in San Francisco and had worked as a longshoreman for 30 years.
Survivors include a sister, Antonia Catania of Mill Valley; and a brother, Carmelo Bellia of Malta.
The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
The funeral and burial will be in Mosta, Malta.
