GORDON H. BIRD

Gordon H. Bird, longtime Tiburon resident, died Monday, Aug. 17, 1987 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Rafael, after a short illness. He was 73.

Mr. Bird, a native of Petersboro, Canada, lived in Tiburon for 34 years. He worked as a custodian for the Reed School District in Tiburon for 30 years.

Mr. Bird, who became permanently deaf at age 5 after an illness, was a graduate of California School for the Death (sic) in Berkeley.

He is survived by his brother, Lloyd H. Bird, of Tiburon.

Private arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society in San Rafael.

The family asks that memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association.
