SOUZA, Hazel Iretta Hughes - Of San Francisco, passed away in Greenbrae on March 28, 2002 after a short illness. She was born in Kaysville, UT, in 1911, and moved to San Francisco in the 1930's. Hazel was a make-up artist for the late Helena Rubenstein. Because of health reasons, she had been staying with her son Raymond in Greenbrae for the past month. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband George L. Souza, her son Richard E. DeLeon, and her loving brothers and sisters. In addition to her son Raymond L. DeLeon of Greenbrae, Hazel is survived by her grandsons Raymond C. DeLeon and Ronald D. DeLeon, both of Novato, her great-grandchildren Joshua and Lauren DeLeon, of Rohnert Park, and her daughter-in-law Jurlene, of Ukiah. At Hazel's request, there will be no services.
