ALFRED E. CASTLE
Alfred E. Castle of Kentfield died Saturday, July 9, 1988, at his home after a six-month illness. He was 69.
Mr. Castle, a former resident of San Rafael, had lived in Marin for 28 years.
He was a native of Barrington, Ill.
Mr. Castle earned bachelor’s degrees in engineering and business administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi honor society and made the First Dean’s List.
Mr. Castle was a major in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
After a 30-year career with Eastman Kodak Co., Mr. Castle worked as a self-employed accountant and tax preparer.
He also collaborated on five books.
He is survived by two sons, Richard G. Castle of Texas and Charles Bryant Castle of Dayton, Ohio.
