Matthew Prescott Poczatek

Passed away in San Jose, Costa Rica, Tuesday, February 12, 2002. He was born in Petaluma, California and was 32 years old. He was the much loved son of Greg and Ginger Poczatek; loving brother of John Poczatek and his wife Jane; and adored uncle of Gregory and Adam Poczatek. Matthew leaves behind many family members and friends, all of whom loved him deeply.

Matthew will always be remembered for his love of making others happy, which always seemed, in turn, to make him the happiest. He had an unparalleled passion for music and enjoyed spending hours reading a good book.

A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be held on Monday, February 18, 2002 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, California. Private Inurnment.

The family prefers memorial donations in Matthew's memory be made to St. James Church Building Fund, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA 94954.
