EVELYN ELLENBOGEN
Active volunteer
Evelyn Ellenbogen of Novato died of emphysema Friday, Feb. 9, 1990. She was 74.
Mrs. Ellenbogen moved from her native New Jersey to Novato in 1979.
She worked in women’s clothing retail.
When she was diagnosed with emphysema Mrs. Ellenbogen became an active volunteer for the American Lung Association and the Better Breathers Association. She was also a volunteer in several Jewish organizations in the New Jersey area before she moved to Novato.
Mrs. Ellenbogen is survived her husband of almost 50 years, Irving Ellenbogen; a son, David Ellenbogen of New Jersey; and a daughter, Nancy Ellenbogen of Novato.
Her family requests donations go to the American Lung Association.
